Shipping is who you think’s cute and what relationships you think are interesting. Canon is non important (ie, what I ship has nothing to do with what I think the plot of the future is.) I also don’t care to only ship one person per person. these people are in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s. Several partners are the norm.

Ive always wanted the mercy-pharah ship just because how it works so much in the game. of course lore-wise it wouldnt make any sense at all and it seems like she has a thing with genji anyways.
ingame chemistry would be pharmercy of course, rein-zarya would look like the have a thing lol. cant think of any others really. even rein-ana have great ingame chemistry gameplay (him and genji with ana). of course this is only in gameplay chemistry not actual lore chemistry
lore-wise hints are genji and mercy being romantically involved, sigma having a little thing for widowmaker (asked her out in voice lines) and maybe d.va and lucio? Ashe and Mccree having a past gang relationship, maybe even more?
I don’t really understand why they gave Sigma that VL tbh
