For over a week, I’ve been unable to play Overwatch 2 on my PS5 due to a recurring “Client Requested Disconnect” error. Every time I log in, I get disconnected from the server after two minutes playing. I’ve tried reinstalling the game, restarting my PS5, and using a LAN cable, but nothing has worked. I havent played with my friends in almost 2 weeks and I am beginning to feel hopeless. Someone please help me in resolving this issue.
This means the console or internet in the home is requesting a termination of the connection to Overwatch. Try a reinstall or reset of the console. Beyond that, you’d need to work with the ISP.
I’ve already tried reinstalling the game, but that didn’t work. I even went as far as resetting my PS5, but still no luck. What’s strange is that I can connect to servers just fine on other games, and I’ve never had this issue with Overwatch 2 until this month. Is there anything you can do on your end to help resolve this?
I don’t work at Blizzard, but even if I did, you’re getting a clear error message that says the disconnect is happening locally.
