Id rather Reaper had a smokescreen. I feel like he would be more effective and also benefit his team with added utility.
Nope would be too op. Drop a smoke and then ult. That leap ability would be a good replacement for shadow step. Speeding it up wouldnt work because you still have the aweful targeting
He needs an engage to combat tanks and brawl it out with other characters. If he was a sniper teleport would be good but the man has to get close to do damage.
You could try reworking teleport so that you no longer teleport, but instead, you turn into a black smoking missile (similar to Death Eater movie effects they made for that harry potter movie when they flew away) except you donât fly, you CHARGE into them, causing a knockback thatâs as far as Lucioâs boop (yes, the charge is based off of Reinfart, but to have a LEAP? ehhh, you already could do that if you jumped off a high ground in wraith form). +, did nobody pay attention to that animated short with Reaper and the way he just mobilized away in the museum?

General Changes
Increase movement speed by 5%.
Primary Fire
Armor Piercing Slug- âRight Clickâ
Each of these rounds would deal 65 damage per body-shot. They will have a really bad drop-off past 30 meters (which is the start of the fall off) at 45 meters the fall-off stops and the damage is now 35 damage per body-shot. This would fall-off linearly meaning it would have a âslopeâ the slope would be: 2 damage per meter. Each secondary fire âroundâ takes 3 ammo in Reaperâs shotguns. This means that he can actually shoot 3 slugs without reloading, so basically his slug will act like Torbjörnâs shotgun. He switches between both primary and secondary fire almost instantaneously and seamlessly. Meaning no animations are done except for Reaper using his thumbs to click something on the back of both shotguns, these would be kind of like the hammers on revolvers. These rounds would have no spread they would just be a fairly large hit-scan shot. This secondary fire would do 1.5x damage to armor and .75x damage to shields. Meaning that within his min. falloff range he would deal 97 damage to armor and 49 damage to shields. It would not have a sound que like Roadhogâs secondary fire it would feel like you are shooting McCreeâs revolver.
Smoke Grenades- âEâ
No one can see in or out, so they are basically visibility barrier only, but it applies to both teams. If you are inside the smoke you can see other people inside the smoke as well but only indistinctly. If they are an enemy you will be able to see a faint red outline. If Reaper is inside the smoke his damage his increased by 25% or in other words he gets a 1.25x damage buff while inside the smoke. This includes his slug-fire. Both his primary and secondary fire will get the damage buff even if the actual pellets/slugs go out of the smoke. These smokes would have a radius of 15 meters. Reaper would have these smokes on a 18 second cooldown each. Smoke would last around 8 seconds. This means that there are six seconds that Reaper doesnât have a smoke up. The cooldown would start as soon as he throws the smoke.
Blackout- Ultimate- âQâ
Reaper will throw 3 smokes one right in front of him and one diagonally to his left and the last one diagonally to his right, so itâs a cone in front of him covering around 90 degrees. How far they will be thrown will depend upon where he is aiming. But they the first smoke will always be thrown directly at the center of his crosshair, the second at 1 degrees, and the third at 90 degrees. Once Reaper presses âQâ his smoke âEâ will be reset to full cooldown. The only difference between this ult and his normal smoke ability is that Reaper and only the Reaper using the ult will be able to see through the smoke. After he throws the smoke there will be a short animation where Reaper puts on night-vision goggles. Only Reapers with night-vision goggles on can see through the smoke so if both Reaperâs used their ults there could be up to eight smokes on the map with only two characters being able to see through them.

Bruh, then whatâs the point of playing Reaper? his death blossom is just fine.
But the idea of having a smokescreen? Ehh, nobody else has that sort of thing, + it really would be difficult for people to be able to KILL anything with that sort of ability
His Death Blossom is awful, you press âQâ and instantly die. Itâs worse than McCreeâs High Noon. At least with HN you can be far away.

No, you donât instantly die. Thatâs why Reapers sometimes die when using âQâ.
Please, do use some research and common sense when saying these things.
Regardless, the new ult I suggested would be better than DB. He throws 3 smokes, is the only one who can see through them, and deals increased damage.
But Infra-sight, Sonar arrow, (Genji can just deflect those smoke grenades if theyâre lucky) all counter the ult you made up. +, with that sort of rework, Blizzard would be better off deleting Reaper and REMAKING him.
Not directly, ok imagine for a second Gibraltar third, youâre on defense and playing Reaper. The enemy team wipes you with grav strike. You are going to stall and use this new ult, that would have way more impact than DB. No one could see anything except you and you deal increased damage.
Why we just use the âdoom ult systemâ to place teleport
you would be vulnerable when choosing the place, but instant tele on the other end, no cheesy âhit me in the headâ arrival
Great, there goes my passion for Reaper down the drain. + If the enemy unleashes a Grav Strike against the other team, that smoke ult wonât get him to get on the payload faster.
How about something like his âEâ becomes a targeted ability where he quickly rushes behind that person and fires off a shot from both of his guns at the same time into their back.
