Overwatch players: “Hitscans are too strong / easy and need to be nerfed”

Also Overwatch players when anything other than hitscan is meta: “Such an annoying hero, such an unfun hero, such garbage, nerf now!”

Can some of ya’ll PLEASE make up your mind. You either DO NOT want hitscan to be meta or you DO. You can’t complain about hitscan being meta and easy, but then as soon as literally anything that ISN’T hitscan becomes meta, they “don’t fit the game” or they “are unfun”.

IMO? Hitscans are braindead easy. Does that mean they should be weak? No. But they definitely shouldn’t be whatever tf McCree is.

Let other heroes actually shine and if you don’t want that, don’t constantly complain that hitscans are meta.

You make zero case for why you believe these are the same people saying this. Contradiction only comes when a single individual holds opposing views. Otherwise it’s just two different peoples’ opinions.

I would expect someone to be able to understand such a basic concept.

I’ve seen people say that hitscans are too strong, but then turn around and say characters like doomfist or mei should never be viable.

This is not a contradiction. It’s possible to think hitscan is too strong while simultaneously thinking other individual non-hitscan heroes have issues.
