Overwatch on ssd or hdd? (Also games in general)

I built my first ever pc and I’m proud. But I’m anxious because I am one of those neat file freaks. I want to know what drive suits overwatch, smite, and csgo the best. Also the differences between drives and what you guys recommend. I have 240gb ssd and 1tb 7200 rpm hdd :blush:

An SSD is better than an HDD in virtually every way except for price per gigabyte.

However as far as games go they will only really help with load times and don’t really affect performance at all. In a game like Overwatch that is just multiplayer the only impact this would have is getting to the hero pick screen first if you’re one to want to lock in a hero quickly.

If you don’t have room to put everything on the SSD, then prioritize things that need to load and read/write quickly such as the OS and editing software.

Put Overwatch on SSD, so that you can get to the pick-character screen faster.
