Overwatch not launching, process taking minimal resources

Every time I click play to open Overwatch it’ll say “launching” for a second then say “playing now” without ever having launched the game. In the task manager it’s taking 0 cpu, and around 1-2 mb of memory, so I guess the process has actually launched in some way, when I end that process it’ll give me the option to click play again on battlenet. I think it started happening after the last windows update.

Stuff I tried that didn’t work:
Restarting pc
Reinstalling Overwatch
Scan and repair
Running file directly, and as admin
Updating drivers

Any ideas?

Almost similar to mine, but its using some CPU and RAM, and reads with 2MB/s, but not launching.
But the scan and repair fixes it.
Maybe adding the game exe/folder to the antivirus exceptions? I’m using Windows Defender.

Edit: Add the Battle.net exe/folder too,adding the install folder worked for me.
