Ok, so I’m really confused about this.
I’ve read other issues where Sysmain just takes the entire hard drive and starts using it a lot to make things load up quicker. I thought this was a common thing up until right now.
Overwatch, and only Overwatch, makes Sysmain go overdrive and take 100% of my disk process.
I wasn’t sure before, but now I’m certain. If I open Overwatch, after 3 matches or so, I start getting huge FPS dips due to the high disk usage.
If I don’t stop playing, it’s a matter of 3 to 5 minutes until the game lags (As in, internet lag. Everyone stops moving) and kicks me out from the server. Not the match, no, but the entire server.
At that point, my only option is closing the game and wait for Sysmain to stop using the entirety of my disk.
It doesn’t matter how many times it happens, it’s always the same. If I start seeing FPS dips (which doesn’t always happen), I immediately know Sysmain is acting up and I have to finish the match as soon as possible and close the game, or I’ll get kicked out of the server in a match or two.
