When I load Overwatch I am getting a discord 404 error blocking the view

I have been getting the same message. I deleted overwatch and tried re downloading it, but the 404 error still pops up.
Same.
Tried linking to a pic of the error screen but it won’t let me post a link. It’s a grey screen with an animated robot mouse beating on a computer where “SNEK” keeps coming up on the screen. There is a big 404 to the left with links below and a Discord logo at the bottom.
Can hear the idle sounds in the background. Can’t click any of the links on the error page. I had to take the above pic with my phone (that the forum won’t let me show…). If I screencap, it looks like nothing is wrong.
You will need to disable Discord’s overlay features to remove this message. To disable them open Discord and follow these steps:
- Look for your Discord tag and icon in the lower left corner of the discord window and click the
icon. - In the Activity Settings in the left-side options navigation pane and click on Game Overlay
- At the top of the main panel, look for “Enable in-game overlay” and toggle it off (going from green to gray)
- Restart Overwatch
Note, disabling the overlay affects all compatible games with Discord.
