Predictions were 3-1 NYXL over Valiant, and 3-2 Shanghai Dragons over Seoul Dynasty…I would not be at all surprised if that Seoul/Shanghai pick was flip-flopped, though.

“How to speed run a sellout team.”

by New York Excelsior

…coming to bookstores soon.

That rez lol. …

I remember when Shanghai dragons was bad in Inaugural Season. Glad theyre doing good now.

La Valiant, like London Spitfire, are the bonus rounds for other teams to pick up free wins.

2018 Shanghai Dragons have been bad, but this is taking bad to a whole new level I think.

Easy 6 points on the pickems, thanks Valiant :+1:

Will Saebyeolbe see any playtime?
Will Gesture continue forcing Hog?

The NYXL pitch about as perfect of a game as one could ask for, and go 1-1 on the week.

FINAL (Game 1)

Ilios (Control): New York Excelsior 2, Los Angeles Valiant 0.

Dorado (Escort): New York Excelsior 1, Los Angeles Valiant 0.

Temple of Anubis (Assault): New York Excelsior 1, Los Angeles Valiant 0.

FINAL SCORE: New York Excelsior 3, Los Angeles Valiant 0

NEW YORK EXCELSIOR WINS!

The NYXL go 1-1 on the week and find themselves on the right side of the June Joust knockout cutline…at least for the moment. They now sit back and hope that their 2-2 record with a +1 map differential will be just enough to move into the June Joust.

Next up, we have what should have been the double points APAC match of the week: Seoul Dynasty versus Shanghai Dragons. This ought to be a good one! Here we go!

Legs :leg: :poultry_leg: :leg: :poultry_leg: :leg: :poultry_leg:

I don’t get why Gesture is forcing Hog so much. Seoul is a team known for their double barrier. You’d think they’d play it when they get the opportunity when Rein is banned.

Please have a good rest of the morning everyone! See ya’ll at noon for the N.A. matches.

Most disgusting remech I have ever seen, range is insane lol

Remech 3k in league has now happened haha. Anamo had to be mad tho. Seems like Mercy shouldn’t have gotten killed in that

It’s Sunday morning, and D’Va Remech Pancakes are now being served! Your chef: Void! Get 'em while they’re hot!

AFTER MAP 2

Lijiang Tower (Control): Shanghai Dragons 2, Seoul Dynasty 1

Dorado (Escort): Shanghai Dragons 2, Seoul Dynasty 1

MATCH SCORE: Shanghai Dragons 2, Seoul Dynasty 0

NEXT UP: The second half of Dynasty vs. Dragons. The Shanghai Dragons are on MATCH POINT!

Incoming Sideshow mald over the Marve1 off-tank on the next platchat episode.

The Seoul Dynasty lulls the Shanghai Dragons into playing with their food on Temple of Anubis, but the Dragons slam the door on Eichenwalde, and as a result the Shanghai Dragons all but clinch a spot in the June Joust.

FINAL

Lijiang Tower (Control): Shanghai Dragons 2, Seoul Dynasty 1.

Dorado (Escort): Shanghai Dragons 2, Seoul Dynasty 1.

Temple of Anubis (Assault): Seoul Dynasty 3, Shanghai Dragons 2.

Eichenwalde (Hybrid): Shanghai Dragons 3, Seoul Dynasty 0.

FINAL SCORE: Shanghai Dragons 3, Seoul Dynasty 1.

SHANGHAI DRAGONS WINS!

APAC JUNE JOUST STANDINGS (AFTER WEEK 2)

Shanghai Dragons 3-1 (3 League Points) (+5)
Hangzhou Spark 2-0 (2 League Points) (+5)
New York Excelsior 2-2 (2 League Points) (+1)
Seoul Dynasty 1-1 (1 League Points) (+0)

-Cutoff-

Guangzhou Charge 1-1 (1 League Points) (+0)
Chengdu Hunters 1-1 (1 League Points) (-1)
Philadelphia Fusion 0-2 (0 League Points) (-4)
Los Angeles Valiant 0-2 (0 League Points) (-6)

The Shanghai Dragons should lock up a spot in the June Joust after going 2-0 on the week. As for the Seoul Dynasty, they need a half decent week next week to ensure they lock up a spot in the June Joust. The Dynasty do hold a tiebreaker over the NYXL, though, so a 1-1 week next week with a gain of 1 map in the map differential should at least get them extremely close to the June Joust, if not locked in to the June Joust.

And that’s all she wrote for this week’s APAC matches, my friends. A reminder that the NYXL vs. L.A. Valiant match will be featured in an encore replay presentation at 9:30am PDT (12:30pm EDT) today, and those encore replays are eligible for token rewards! If live matches are your preference, then we have the final day of Week 2 of NA Region June Joust qualifiers kicking off at high noon PDT (3:00pm EDT), with Watchpoint Preshow starting 30 minutes prior. We’ll see you then! For now, enjoy the rest of your morning, and enjoy those hot D’Va pancakes, compliments of Chef Void!
