Overwatch keeps crashing after PC issues

My Overwatch keeps lagging out and eventually crashing. I’d be lucky to get two games in before it either lags me out of a game or straight up crashes.

For background, my PC has been having issues. I recently put in a new SSD. After that, I went on a work trip. When I came back, the PC itself kept freezing and crashing. I can’t remember the exact problem code was, but it basically required me to reinstall windows entirely. I did not do that; instead, I simply took the new SSD out and put it back in. After that, my PC appeared to stop crashing, but Overwatch itself keeps crashing

I didn’t have this issue before I left for my trip, and it worked fine. Why is this? I don’t think it’s an internet issue since my internet is fine for everything else. and I can’t think of what the issue is.

If it helps, I did have connectivity issues before hand, but that was largely because of my wifi. Also, the game hasn’t been performing like it used to. When I play the first game, it drops to 30-60 fps and lags. After about five minutes or so, it goes back to 144. This would happen a bit in the past few months

You’re describing a mix of behaviors that could be explained by hardware issues. Perhaps your old drive is dying, too full, or too slow for the game. Perhaps the power supply is dying. Maybe components are overheating by the time you reach two games. It’s hard to say, but I think your best bet is either to work with a forum group that focuses on hardware issues or a local PC technician.
