They are showing off everything they need to to bring people back to the game. This will be a process but I can see people slowly returning to the game now. I feel like they wouldn’t have been able to reveal as much as they have if Activision (Bobby) was still here. I am finally excited again for OW so much I bought the le sserafim bundle. I want them to feel they are heading in the right direction.

With all the classic stuff World of Warcraft is getting, Im just over here hoping for Overwatch classic. I dont want to excist in this free to play eara that everyone seems to be fine with. Battlepass sucks. There are close to 0 rewards to unlock in this game as a veteran player, atleast not without taking up a secound mortage to pay for cosmetics…

True but I have always only bought OW content (including loot boxes) when I believe ow has moved in the right direction not for the skins themselves but to support the game direction. Other than pink Mercy which was for charity.

Even if they deliver on everything, they will NEVER fix the matchmaker or game balance, so who cares?
Oh cool weapon inspects, oh cool emerald weapons, oh cool new characters and one is non binary. Big whoop. Game is still wildly unbalanced, they won’t change problematic characters and they won’t pit us against people of our actual skill level.
I can’t be excited about anything because the game is just a walking, rotting corpse being covered in glitter and stickers.

Serious question, how much more do you want from the ranked system? This is as much information as you need to figure out anything you need to about the game?

in all honesty, this could’ve just been one of the incidents where bobby told them to work on it, next thing you know, he tells them to scrap it. we very much could be getting them sooner or later because microsoft is letting them work on things they want to!

I think keeping the competitive information simple and clear is a step in the right direction. I’m not sure about the details but I hope it’s easy to understand when I play it. I’m not so sure about the menu UI with the cards, that might be a bit too consolidated but I like that they’re atleast taking a look at it.
The Emerald weapons being introduced is a good sign that they’ll looking at things they should have added a long time ago as a way to incentivize and reward players for playing. They can’t put everything in a battle pass, we have to play for something aside an unchanging rank score.
It was nice to see development of a future hero shown, I wish they did more of that.
so that’s it ? That’s the BIG news ? that’s mediocre- AT BEST.
precisely, until they address this once and for all this company will remain a joke and i’ll never buy a battle pass / skin / whatever.
