They did for Overwatch 2.
And it was awful.

I stil don’t understand why people want updates/remakes.
Twelve angry men was awful.
Resident Evil 2 was awful.
Spice and wolf was awful.
Just stick with the original.

The graphics in OW look perfectly fine. It’s intended to be a more stylized cartoony look and does so very well. The game actually looks pretty good even on low settings.

If you’re looking for photorealism go play something else.

IMO the graphical updates in OW2 were one of the very few things I think they did right.

Yes. Because we had technological progress.

In my opinion, concerning the catholic religion, the graphical updates of the middle ages were one of the very few things i think they did right.

Of course, it’s the only thing they updated for a THOUSAND years but still. What a marvel.

I dread the day when they’ll remake the snowman.

When the “Name that pokemon!” wasn’t really a challenge. Now, its actually formidable.

And it shows, as you suggest. At this point the game is done. It’s full of cheats. The cheating and smurfing levels are so off the charts nobody in their right mind is going to stay to repair the player base.

So it stays the cesspool it is. Nobody would invest in this game at the moment.

Cheating isn’t as rampant as believed and even so, it’s usually some lousy aim bot cheat that can be negated by another hero.

If anything, they should give everyone aim bot and just turn 76’s ult into a crit only thing. It still wouldn’t make much of a difference to the gameplay.
