This game just isn’t fun anymore so many smurfs you are playing against high plat diamond players in bronze and masters in gold. quick play is crap and would just need to make it a full game instead of a round to make that better instead of the pass/fail way it’s set up. All the alt account to try different characters is bull soon as they start loosing or get tilted their mains come out. The chats are increasingly toxic. And most games you can tell. People throwing guarantee a loss if they end up on your team and that’s becoming so common its in every 3rd game, all so they can get to a low enough rank that they can just group up with their smurfing friends and steamroll people trying to have fun because they can’t handle actual competition from their real rank. 9 times out of 10 you can tell the winner and the start of the match simply by their borders, and blizzard does nothing about it. I love this game but hate what it became all the actual players are quiting and the smurfs will follow once only people of their own skill are left and everyone is bronze and silver

Most of their sales now are trolls, smurfs and alts.
They could try to stop it, but it’s most of their revenue stream.
And fixing things would be costly and likely wouldn’t make them money.
Hoping ow2 wipes the slate clean.
Overwatch killed Overwatch, not smurfs.
Even if it doesn’t, hopefully the PvE will be good enough I never have to see these people again.
Seriously. I hate PvP games so much, this and DOOM 2016 have taught me how much I hate PvP games.
Came back to the game for the first time in months, got destroyed 99% of the time by account between level 25 and 75 apparently being placed at bronze/silver level despite the fact that they have near perfect game sense and accuracy.
Uninstalled again.
It’s true. The game has been getting more and more smurfs and it does, indeed. ruin the game. I suggested an easy fix years ago and was ignored by Blizzard. All you have to do is make an option in your settings to not play against anyone under level 100 (or whatever you/they want to set it to). Set default to off so everyone plays normally as they are. But for those of us who have had the game ruined by smurfs, enable it and the problem is solved. Slightly longer queue times, but fair games. Well worth it.
Its not smurfs, its people with quality “video game” skill, but cant rank up cause of OW game sense…? OR actually winning requires so much carry potential (wheres that equation!?) that the grind for them is too slow for them to raise, but too fast to lose SR.
True or false. You want a game where people can actually figure out? Of course maybe not in the first sitting, but years? I mean… this IS blizzard LOL.
This is an amazing suggestion. QP would be quite satisfying to play if it was just a regular competitive game but without the ranking stuff.
As it is right now, it almost feels like an arcade type custom game. Players don’t have enough time to fully invest in the match to have fun.
I took a long break too came back and and was doing bad at first then got back into the Groove and was doing good. I realized that comp is only decent in the beginning of the season when the smurfs are on their main accounts towards the late middle they start throwing on alt accounts then wrecking lower ranked games I lost almost 1000 Sr due to mainly throwers when and quilters now I’m in a low rank and it’s horrible I’m good enough to make the smurfs switch to their mains and go tryhard but not good enough when when 2-3 smurfs go main then target me, then then chats go toxic from them and my team because they kill me so quick I can’t do much
It is pretty bad to be honest. I’d say a third of my games are ruined by throwers either on the enemy team or my team, about the same are ruined by smurfs usually widow or hanzo, and then the final third are games with smurfs and throwers. It’s quite funny when they’re on the same team at least 
OP is 100% correct. Blizzard is a disgrace for allowing this to happen
Game is total trash you made the right choice. Blizzard is actively griefing their own consumer base. I hope they get sued.

Which will be allowed to queue into the same games as people who buy OW2 (if it ever comes).
They won’t get the pve stuff, but they will continue to destroy the player base.
I’m hopeful that devs have learned their lesson from ow1.
Far too lenient on throwers and smurfs. Seen one thrower duo wreck 100 games in a season (open profile). Not banned.
Too late to fix ow1 now, so it’s a write off.
I’m expecting clans in ow2, so players can police themselves.
Riot are very much better at enforcement than Blizzard.

Totally agree on this one, I’ve noticed a low level account doing poorly on an unusual hero just to swap to Tracer and start eating our team…

If u want to play the game competitively play ranked the number on the screen doesn’t matter if it’s for fun quick play is bad because everyone plays for them selfs because there’s no real stakes in quick play that’s why it sucks
