So every time I open Overwatch, I get black screen and then the message "Overwatch Application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I uninstalled Razer Synapse (beta) and installed the stable version instead. This helped for roughly 2 days before Overwatch started crashing again.
I’ve updated my Nvidia drivers, I turned on and off my antivirus stuff, I reinstalled both battlenet and Overwatch.
Help?

I’m having the same problem atm. Could synapse be the problem?
has anyone fixed it i am having same problem on overwatch and diablo but all my other games work
Try searching for the Razer Chroma SDK in your Windows Apps List and remove it (keep Synpase installed).

Yes, it can, while it is possible for the game to become no longer usable on certain platforms. More often than not the game fights with conflicting programs when they update. Programs like Razer Synapse, Discord, GeForce Experience, AMD ReLive, Avast Antivirus, etc. are all common culprits for causing crashes. Regardless if it is Blizzard’s end or a conflicting program. It can only be solved through troubleshooting.
In my case AMD is the problem and always will be , look back 6 months for the rendering patch cluster…fk
Same issue here
still cant fix
Hey there, PsychoBunny, I found a solution. Go to File Explorer, and then search for Chroma. Delete all files that are associated with Razer Chroma that follows, and then make sure to empty your recycle bin.
I had the same issue right now…I tried uninstalling overwatch,Uninstall virus defender apps,Disabled overlay but for some reason i am still having this annoying problem…
