Overwatch extra folder

Hello, I have a “problems” where Blizzard’s games create aditional folders in My Documents folder, where I usually only save personal or work information and it’s pretty annoy to see Overwatch, W3, Diablo, folders there, looks like these folders are just “cache” or “pc config” nothing else, is there any way to make them save in others directions?

My game’s direcoty are the retail C:/File Programs

Hey, Novas!

This would be the Overwatch settings and replay save folder. We use the Documents folder for all in-game settings. There is no supported way to move the default location to a different location.

The main reason why game developers use My Documents for settings and game save data is twofold. They want to keep it separate from the actual game installation location to help prevent players from mistakenly deleting their game saves and settings when reinstalling the game. They also want to make sure the Settings folder has full Read/Write permission to the hard drive. The My Documents folder has full permissions on by default.

It has been an ongoing trend for well over a decade to use My Documents as a save location. I know it is a pain for people who like to keep the folder clean and organized in a certain fashion, but that is the reasoning behind why the folder exists there.

Hello. I don’t have an issue with them being in the Documents folder. What I do have issue with, is every game creating its own folder there. I have a Documents folder named ‘game settings’, where I’d like to put exactly these folders. I’ve managed to do that with steam games, no problem. But how do I go about moving blizzard’s games’ folders into it? I’d imagine there is a text file in each individual blizzard game where I can edit the path from which it reads and saves the settings saved in Documents.
