Greetings everyone, this forum post is a handy guide to show what ongoing and upcoming events and esports are going on for Overwatch primarily for North America. This includes in-game events (such as seasonal events and Competitive Seasons), official gatherings (such as the convention appearances), special third-party promotions (such as Twitch drop promotions) and Esports (such as Overwatch Contenders, World Cup, and Overwatch League). 2019 Season 2 Korea
Overwatch Contenders Trials is a round robin tournament consisting of the bottom 2 ranking Overwatch Contenders Teams from the previous season and the top 4 Overwatch Open Division Teams playing in a round-robin tournament. The top four performing teams after the round-robin advance to the Contenders Tournament for that season. The losing teams are deligated back to Overwatch Open Division. NEW for Korea this year: Fusion University (2019 Season 1North American East champions and 2019 Season 1 Atlantic Showdown Winners) transfer over to Korea Contenders and are granted one of the two Contenders spots.

2019 World Cup - Committee Voting
Committee Voting is now open through June 9th. Log on with your BattleNet account to the Overwatch World Cup official website and vote for your Community Lead and General Manager. The top ranked players (according to in-game Competitive Skill Rating) can also vote for the team coach for each eligible country's team.
