All paid for. They’re trying to bring in a new generation of less cynical players here. Steam also had a massive spike so I guess it was worth the money.

Japan has their own region for OWCS, which has been fun to watch. Japanese players have rarely been featured on the pro scene in the past, so there’s real reason to believe the interest is legit.

Sorry, are you on the dedicated forums for a game just to talk trash to its fans? Seems like you’re the one on copium.

I’m referring to the stream titles of the top streamers. They all say ‘supported by Activision Blizzard’. PS Nothing wrong with paid-for streams, I’m just saying that’s where the spike comes from.

LOL copium harder cringer. 50% of the entire OW twitch section is watching “supported by blizz” streams. These are streamers who have audiences that follow them to ANYWHERE/ANYGAME they play. You are mad you wasted thousands on hours on a dog sht game arent you ?

Mad that I’ve had thousands of hours of fun for $60 I paid 8 years ago? With thousands more to come? Lol oh no. Seems like you’re just mad everyone else isn’t mad. Maybe find something you like and spend time on that.

Its always the japanese side of the community carrying OW on Twitch plus theres a couple of Kiriko skins in drops right now.

It’s because it’s being advertised on the Twitch homepage, not on the app though. Notice how almost every streamer is desperately playing the new Bepop skins

There are drops. This happens every time there are drops. It will go back to normal after drops expire…
