When I start Overwatch, it doesn’t launch, but Battle.net shows that I’m in-game. In the Task Manager, only ‘Overwatch Application’ appears, but no new window opens, no matter how long I wait.
I’ve already tried the six suggested steps, from updating drivers to disabling background apps, running Battle.net as an administrator, and deactivating the firewall to make sure it’s not blocking Overwatch.
If adding the Battlenet exe and Overwatch install folders to exceptions in Windows Defender doesn’t work, then you may have a secondary security app blocking the game. Common examples are Avast, MalwareBytes, Norton, etc.
