Since the update to Version 2.12.1.1.130660 today, Overwatch2 does not start anymore. Shortly after hitting the Play button, a windows error message pops up stating: “Could not send the bug because no reporting tool was specified. Please contact a member of the engine team.” I tried it on my backup PC and there the game takes unusually long to start up and the menu is lagging. On my laptop Overwatch2 does not start anymore without displaying any error message.
Hello! Sorry this is happening to you. It would help us diagnose if you could provide your full dxdiag information.

me too, me too me too.
I guess no one can start game now
It’s a big issue, I guess someone can get fired because of this big problem.
I’m having the same issue. DXDiag included.
For what it’s worth, I had a similar thing happen a week or two ago, and it required an update from Blizzard to fix. Here’s the previous thread: Error - "Failed load vivoxsdk.dll" after today hotfix update - #10 by BONES-21921
Yes, I also had this vivoxsdk.dll one.
It works for me now, thanks!
Seems like they reverted to version 2.12.1.1.130220, which, at least for now, lets me start the game again.
Probably not, accidents happen , you can’t just willfully fire someone after 1 small mistake, especially for something on a gaming server.
In the finance world though, yes it is a different story.
I’m still having this issue I’ve had to reinstall everything twice to play.
Overwatch2 just installed the next update to version 2.12.1.1.130936 and the issue is there again, on all my devices. Not able to start the game, just the error message “Could not send the bug because no reporting tool was specified. Please contact a member of the engine team.” Are these updates even tested before rollout?
I have the same problem now, before it was the steam problem that verifies the game whenever I try to start it, I even changed where the game is installed and still nothing. Now that this new update came out I decide to try if the problem was solved but now it shows this same error “Could not send the bug because no reporting tool was specified. Please contact a member of the engine team.” bruh.
Here, it just started working again after they reverted the update again back to version 2.12.1.1.130220. Same procedure as last time.
