Am i the only one genuinely afraid to even speak in vc and text chat atm? I’ve seen an excessive amount of people on x, tiktok and even reddit get banned over some of the dumbest stuff they’ve said in vc and text chat. And the overwatch customer support seems to be no help either, having automated responses, copy and pasted messages or just genuinely ignoring the issue stated in the tickets. I haven’t used any types of chat for comms in a while because of this, I’m genuinely so terrified to get my account restricted if I just say one tiny thing
I am not afraid, per se. But I am not bothering with voice chat anymore because I am too old to argue with kids anyways. At a certain point, it just became less fun. I remember the last toxic game I played on my main vividly because of how boring it was when I did not humor the person with mental issues.
I’m not talking about arguing or being toxic I’m talking about genuine use of it, If you took a look on some of the reasons people are getting banned its genuinely so bad.
I have been around the block and see most of these threads before they 404. I have never seen anyone eat a suspension from the game that did not either make fun of someone or swear. I doubt you have anything to worry about.
