So, here’s a quick rundown of what’s happening. I don’t really have a good computer, in fact, one would call it sh*tty. I do not meet the spec requirements in any way. Anyways, back to the story, I play overwatch pretty well due to overclocking and boosting my pc using programs, usually, I crash 1-3 times a day, nothing too bad, If I’m in a comp game I can come back pretty fast. Thing is, sometimes, after an update, the game crashes all the time, usually that last 1,5 days. Nothing too bad, I can wait, I have other games installed, I sometimes even manage to fix it (somehow). Anyways, this time, overwatch has been crashing literally every game, I’m lucky if I even finish one match, it’s really annoying, and it has been going on for about 3 days now. I have no idea what’s going on, I’ve tried so many things to fix it (adjust the priority settings in task manager, fix game files, reinstall. etc…) Noting works, I have no idea what to do, thank you
sincerely

Hey there,
Since you’re below min spec I’m afraid there may not be much we could offer in order to clear up these crashes. However I did want to mention that overclocking itself can definitely cause Overwatch to crash.
You may want to try removing all overclocking and then test the game again. You may take a hit to FPS, but perhaps that may be worth it if the game doesn’t crash as often.
I really do not think it is worth it, the game is unplayable below 10 fps, unfortunately, that’s how my computer is. Perhaps you could offer me a solution that would be useful for computers above min specs, that could sometimes work.
Howdy SirAdRevenue,
You can find some general recommendations here. Based on what you have described though, you’ve probably gone through these steps already and without a detailed list of exact steps you have taken or the system files, there’s not really anything more specific we can suggest.
Thank you, I appreciate it
