Overwatch Coins currently unavailable on Bing Rewards

I redeemed 15 times for 3,000 total OW2 coins since 12/15/2022 (had a bankroll of like 8,400 Bing points), and basically earned 200 OW2 coins every five days while they were 1,800 Bing points per 200 OW2 coins. The last few have been redeemed for 2,000 points.

Now they are unavailable… but it says coming soon. Seems Blizzard realized people were getting coins too easily from this.

I’ll be truly sad if they remove them from Bing for good

Don’t worry about this. A Microsoft Bing dev said on the Microsoft Rewards subreddit that they are coming back, just hasn’t said when

I’m guessing a long enough delay so that people with less will power are tempted to buy any they may need.

I’ve only sunk $50 into OW2 and I currently have 4,889 OW2 coins.

Watchpoint coins have been fully used; I’ve gotten 3,000 from Bing, 1,000 from Starter Packs (S1 and S2) and the rest are weeklies. Still haven’t bought a shop skin or item and very proud of that. And of course I did get that 1 coin Bastion skin… which still annoys me.

Continuing just to bank for every possible Battle Pass!

Blizz obviously wants to keep free coins down to 60!! per week. so you can not buy all Battlepasses in a year for free.

As far as I understand microsoft buy these coins so for blizzard it shouldn’t matter who pays you or ms.

Ah yes Bing rewards, the salary team4 should be paid out in.
Thanks for the hard work on ow2, Aaron, here are your 6 bingcoins.
one for each day you didn’t work this week.

nice article tho keep it up

I was going to redeem 200 coins and saw that it’s unavailable. Thanks, now I know that it wasn’t a bug. I’ll wait until it’s available again.

Not a bug…they just ran out of codes

they probably didn’t think people would use them as a legit way to get coins.
hell even I find it silly that people want skins this bad

Good.

Bing Rewards users are clearly “not the target audience.”

And this should never come back. Copy+paste recycled arguments against the return of Pink Mercy and change the subject to “Bing Rewards” for reasons why (I’m too lazy).

(Honestly? This is what I came here for: to read through a heated back and forth popcorn-worthy low IQ BS argument, but I saw none. You guys disappoint me.)

I read your comment three times, and I have no idea what your issue is, or why you have it.

I got 3000 coins from it for virtually no effort… no complaints here. Saved away for more Battle Passes. If they ever come back I can already get another 400 coins.

My reply was a joke, a satire of these forums and the asinine positions taken (and sometimes heated debates) against the common and innocent requests for the return of various cosmetics. This thread is similar to all the others wanting a renewed opportunity to buy/earn what was time-limited and now no longer available. It is exactly the kind of often seen request that hurts no one, yet always draws the gatekeeping trolls out of the woodworks to derail the thread, berate the requester and insist their requested item will not (or “should not”) return any time soon (or ever), backed by some BS moral highground, all because they enjoy seeing misery and rubbing it in.

As I was pointing out in the small text, where are our usual resident forum contrarians? Because I’m honestly surprised to see them sleeping on their routine.
