I ran into an issue this morning where OW will not launch and blizzard error “The application encountered and unexcepted error” will instead pop up.

Things i’ve tried and no luck.
Restarting/powering down.
checking GPU drivers and WIndows drivers (all up to date)
Ran repair tool on both blizz and windows.
did a clean reinstall of OW “cleared all files and cache before reinstalling”
My system is running a GTX 1080 with a 5600x.
I would appreciate any help.

- Press Windows Key + R, then type DxDiag and press Enter.
- In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
- Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save.

While you wait for assistance, I suggest opening the Windows Reliability History tool, which may show you what’s happening in the background to cause any errors.
If you don’t want community help (I don’t work at Blizzard) and require staff assistance specifically, you may need to open a ticket (only they can read those long error codes).
