Hi, recently I’ve started to get this frustrating issue where when I alt+tab out of Overwatch, then back in, sometimes I just get a black screen until I go into Task Manager and close out the game. After this, the Battle.net launcher gets stuck on “playing now”–it turns out that there’s an instance of “Overwatch Application” running in the background that won’t close when I select “End Task” on it in Task Manager. The only workaround I’ve been able to find that lets me play Overwatch again is deleting the Battle.net launcher folder in Program Files, restarting, then running Overwatch and letting it patch the launcher back onto my computer. Normally I’d just refrain from alt+tabbing out of the game, but this issue just started; previously the game handled this just fine. I couldn’t find any solved threads on the forum about a similar issue. Some help would be much appreciated!
