To Blizzard Entertainment and the Overwatch Community,I am a 18-year-old high school student from Tianjin, China.I spent like 600 hours in this game I’m ashamed to say I’ve only topped up 300 RMB or about $50 in this game. But compared to Blizzard’s banning initiative I don’t think I’m ashamed of the amount I’ve recharged either. In my non-newbie days, I mostly played tank posts, ramattra, doom fist, and if I played dps, it was just hanzo. My account has never been banned for a short period of time before, such as seven days or a month.Usually only play with a few friends and seldom solo matches.Despite this, I was subjected to a sufficient number of malicious reports on 3/28 to cause an automated ban to permanently ban my account. It cost me 150 RMB to get a team of specialised complainants to write an email for me but to no avail. Two weeks later, I got a reply that after investigation, we confirmed that your account is in violation of the law, my a$$. I then wrote 14 more complaints in traditional Chinese and English totalling. Not only did I show my evidence and my top-ups, but I even sent in my freaking scores from software like aimlab. If you look at the replay of the actual human review and look at the evidence I sent, the logic makes sense. What’s funny is that at least 5 times in my complaint I was questioned about the exact reason for my account ban, and yes that’s right, the email they sent me only showed that I violated the rules and regulations, not that I was banned for cheating or anything else, until I requested my data in the Data Protection Request, at which point I learnt the exact reason for the ban was for cheating. But the only programs I had running in the background all the way through were UU game booster and the razer driver. What kind of anomalies do you detect? Not only that, but the other two accounts I’ve used have not detected any cheating software.

Hello Friend,
I just wanted to let you know that outside of China, the software required for the Chinese Overwatch client would likely be considered invasive or even categorized as spyware. There’s a reason why the Chinese version of Overwatch is different from the global version.
Stay safe and enjoy the game!
Yep,i alreay knew that. But i have never install Chinese Overwatch in my computer, and i have been play that version last time is already 5 year ago.
There is this software that is installed on all chinese computers and hooks the chat. That would be my best guess.
