Overwatch 2 won´t start

Hi,
I’ve been trying to start Overwatch 2 since yesterday, but it does not work.

Here’s the problem:
I clicked “Play” in the Battle.net launcher as usual, but an update came, so I installed it and when the “Play” button appeared again, it worked and Battle.net showed “Starting the game”, but shortly afterwards the “Play” button appeared again and the game didn’t start.

Here are my attempts to fix the problem on my own (all failed):

1. Try again
2. Update driver/system
3. Restart computer
4. Clear Battle.net cache as suggested by the support website
5. Empty Battle.net tools directory as suggested by the support website
6. Battle.net restarted
7. All Battle.net programs closed manually in the task manager and restarted
8. Antivirus/Firewall checked
9. Used Battle.net repair tool
10. Waited a day to avoid overloads
11. Asked the Blizzard Support Team (The guy that was supporting me told me to ask here for help)

Nothing on this list worked and I would be very reluctant to reinstall the game because of my poor internet. If you have any ideas how to fix this, pls let me know. Thx!

Same thing was happening to me today. A few different updates came and finished instantly and then when I clicked “Play” the game would not launch but then “Play” would appear again.

I just tried “Scan and Repair” from the gear icon next to the play button and after downloading another 67mb update it finished and it seems I can launch the game now.

I guess you already tried that but maybe it doesn’t hurt to try again.

Theres issues with the servers, i can’t connect either.

Sometimes I have to install more updates which only need up to five seconds but it happens every second or third time when I try to start. So it says “Play” or “Update”.
I just deinstalled and installed the Battle.net Launcher but it didn´t work. Just so you know… XD
Maybe this is a important information idk

Addition 19.10.:
It just started again after nearly a weak!!! I just spammed the scan and repair button and suddenly it worked again.
