Learn the definition of “toxic positivity”. You shouldn’t be compelled to be positive just because others are negative. Be positive when there’s something worth positivity. Overwatch 2 would be a much healthier game if people did that early on.

The fact that the company running the game has blatantly lied to its original playerbase, the loyal people who stood by them, kills the feeling of enjoyment though. If they will play this long game garbage for us, how long until it happens all over again.

I like the tone and characters (or can atleast respect them), but I cannot stand the gameplay at all.
I did for a long time, until 75% of my games had Hanzo/Widow, 50% of my games had 1 or more Master+ on the enemy team, and 99% of my games felt like a chore to play, even when we won.

yeah. game is fun. i like to play mercy. never wanted pve to begin with either… but they also lied to us since before this sham of a sequel even came out about how we’d get something we were never getting, and now they want to placate us with archives missions which we all know are going to be awful.
look up toxic positivity. what you are actually saying in making a post right now, in the current context, is that we should all get over it. we won’t. you can keep eating up the PR speak they’re soft serving directly into your mouth while they crouch above your face, i’m not interested.
kind of hard to have fun with something when the developers have been scamming us all for a year and a half. and they only released this information once the acquisition by microsoft was approved in the EU, all but solidifying the deal.
you attempt to use positivity as a weapon to silence the people who are unsatisfied with being fed lies and PR speak. in the current climate of betrayal created by the people who make decisions about this game that weapon has all destructive power of a custard pie falling off a step ladder. splendiferous.
you want positivity? find another game, one that isn’t being ruined by the finance team at acti-bliz.

I don’t know, I think the movement in it is just slow and cumbersome. Also, over time, I feel like I’m starting to not enjoy open world games as much anymore.
