Ubisoft are typically really good when it comes to cloud gaming and getting their games on cloud gaming services so this does give me some hope!
Wait this is actually huge oh my gosh!
Microsoft got pressured into signing off the cloud gaming rights thanks to the CMA (and a little added pressure from myself if I do say so myself) so Microsoft gave it to Ubisoft!

I doubt that Microsoft & Activision Blizzard wanted to do this, but they probably had no choice because of the UK’s CMA being so stubborn. Hopefully the merger deal will close in the coming weeks.

Has nothing to do with being desperate and most likely Microsoft pulling strings. Maybe it was one of the things they promised the commission that they make a few game available on multiple launchers so that they dont have a monopoly over to many games or force people to use their launcher. The work and stuff they have to do to get OW and other games to different launchers is enormous. They dont do this because of money or because they need players. They do it to look better.

It’s about cloud gaming, not really about the Ubisoft launcher. Pretty sure it’s some legal thing for the acquisition.
