Which countries will new heroes hail from?
We know Sojourn will be Canadienne, but what about other new heroes?
I think we should get a Finnish hero. There are a LOT of pro players from Finland and the country has been historically pretty good at the game.
Which countries do you expect to see represented in the sequel and why?

I can’t wait for our queen (Junkerqueen, not that silly one from the UK) to be in OW.
I just hope people don’t complain how a hero from a specific region should look like a person from that region.
In the case of Sojourn, she doesn’t look Canadian at all but she is. I have no problem with that. I just hope others won’t as well.
Reminds me of that story of the Caucasian kid born in Africa and got criticism when he stated he was born there as he didn’t look African in the slightest.
I hope at least a Belgium/Flemmish hero so Sigma and i can make fun of our little neighbour

As long as the heroes are fun I don’t care where they’re from. Tho I’m sure Mauga is Hawaiian or something idk
I’m just excited for an Australian hero with a convincing Australian accent. Junkrat’s accent is terrible, and Roadhog’s VA doesn’t even attempt one.
My prediction is that after OW2 happens there will be no more new heroes.
If Wildebeest is still a thing, he might be come from north america.
Hopefully a polish one.
They’ve dropped hints about releasing a polish map, so hopefully that will be bundled with a hero too:)

Sojourn is 100% in the game.
We also will get Mauga, Junker Queen, Null Sector Leader (the omnic with the dread locks) and most likely Maximillian as playable heroes. Hopefully we will see more members of the MEKA squad (D.Mon in particular). Maybe another hero from Vishkar and/or Helix Security would be kinda interesting.
OW2 will feature a Penguin hero

What does a Canadian look like? Being a nationality is usually tied to being born there not how you look.
honestly the way they did it in apex legends with fuse is so much better, yes its exaggerated but he is actually Australian but blizzard is a small indie dev so i get why they couldnt find an Australian or two
Let me offer an example of my point:
I am Hispanic looking. But if I say I am Asian since I was born there, people get upset since I don’t look Asian.
That’s what my point is. On to your question:
Canadians are typically seen as Caucasian with European ancestry. Then you have the aboriginal population that were there before the migrations. Take your pick but many see the former as being “Canadian.”
