Also noticed some oddities at 1:26
echopoint antarctica is called “antarctica arena” and numbani appears at 2 different places on the map

numbani escape and kings row escape, safe to assume escape might be a new gamemode?

Im so hyped for this and even more hyped for the story mode and pvp updates. Basically everything im hyped up about. Now all we have to do is wait😌

I feel like this expansion will be for everyone who sucks at competative or gets bullied for never doing the right thing or know what to engage.

Killing AI is pretty boring after a few hours in any game that isn’t a sole single player experience. No idea why the focus of this expansion is PVE stuff… that’s not what Overwatch was ever meant to be.

Sure its what people who are stuck in bronze for 20 seasons will want because they can finally be good at something… but come on.

Personally I dont think so. I play comp and play well and I LOVE overwatch pve. And it’s definitely a improvement over archives most likely.

I wonder when Jeff Kaplan tells everyone all the unique passive select abilities for PVE modes won’t be used in competitive :frowning:

Some interesting tidbits I found:

  • 0:10 - (Top right) Seems enemy barriers will be purple if I’m seeing correctly
  • 0:22 - AI teammates? Also there are 5 players on one team. Also Nepal referred to as Himalayas
  • 0:58 - Something very bright in Watchpoint: Gibraltar. A portal?
  • 1:19 - Third person view of the Puller’s tractor beam
  • 1:26 - Dorado called El Dorado, Rialto called Venice and Ecopoint: Antarctica called Antarctica Arena
  • 1:52 - Mercy is moving/crawling while downed in the background
  • 3:14 - “Defend the ferry” objective on what looks like Montecarlo. We won’t just be defending payloads on wheels it seems

Overwatch was built off of an MMORPG bud

That was said back in like 2019 pretty sure

New heroes, new maps, new game modes, massive rebalances. What more are you looking for exactly?

They announced its PVE focused… which doesn’t provide much longevity in a game that has been in maintenance mode going on 2 years.

I think everyone knows that lol for ur post about talents not being in comp. and after ow2 is released i imagine that they still will release new heroes and maps and maybe even more pve

Idk if that’s actually Dorado or a new map entirely since Dorado is located in Mexico while El Dorado is around Venezuela on the map.
