It feels like you’re just playing a constant team deathmatch, no tactical play at all, just respawn, hold forward and shoot at stuff.

So by ‘tactical play’ you mean hide behind shields and use broken abilities since you’re completely incapable of adapting to a fast-paced teamfight?

Its 100x better and more balanced. I hated it at first but stop trying to play OW1, its a completely different game.

The funny thing is that Overwatch has always been about deathmatch/killing the enemy to win the game. Everything you do is to accomplish that.
The people complaining that it feels like death match now are the ones that were used to just hiding in the back lines and not doing much as far as contributing to killing the enemy.

Obvious who the new game is going to be catered to… the ones who don’t really want Overwatch, they want Call of Duty but keep playing Overwatch for some reason.

the people complaining are the ones that played Overwatch for team play and strategy, countering and using your brains.
“The people rejoicing that it feels like deathmatch” never wanted Overwatch in the first place, they wanted a generic run and gun game, of which there are plenty.

The most telling part is almost every game I’ve been in, as soon as the enemy team starts losing, the DPS switch to Soldier and carry the game with the vastly OP generic FPS hero… because it’s all they want. Generic run and gun.

that s wrong lol I m diamond rank I play all heroes n all roles and play hitscan characters most of the time soldier,ashe,cree…even thought they feel a lot stronger in overwatch 2 i still don t like the game everything is downgraded it no longer feels like overwatch no strategy,no teamwork and the gameplay is weird it s more like a mobile game especially the shooting hit effect ov1 is definitely superior in all aspects for me

Hard agree. 5v5 is objectively less strategic than 6v6.
Fights are boring and over too quickly. They all feel anticlimactic.
Me and my group of 15 or so all really dislike the change and will likely leave to find another team focused game if it sticks.
