Overwatch 2 refuses to launch while Steelseries GG is running. The button in the launcher changes from “Play” to “Playing Now” and the “Overwatch Application” process starts and consumes around 60 MB of RAM and 0.1% CPU. But the game window never appears, and the game never fully launches, nor does it display any errors. The “Overwatch Application” process has to be killed via Task Manager.
Stopping Steelseries GG allows the game to launch properly but prevents use of many features on my Steelseries Keyboard, Mouse and Headset. Shutting down Steelseries GG is not a viable solution. No other games that I have played have this issue with Steelseries GG, leading me to believe it is an issue with Overwatch 2.

Well, that answers my question. I am having the same problem and I run the standalone Engine 3.22.2, the last update before it went GG launcher. I rely on Engine for vastly improved Mic settings for my Arctis 3, I purchased the OGs back when they were still issuing the codes that would prompt an additional SSaudio download for virtual surround and additional mic settings like DRC, Noise Gate, Reduced background noise, etc. I like their virtual 7.1 over Windows Sonic too. Sucks that I can’t have it running with OW2. I tried re-opening it after launching OW2 but I don’t think the mic will work, I couldn’t get voice chat working. I need to try again though because it will open/run if I alt-tab out of OW2 and re-open it.
Same here, I doubt it’ll get addressed though. This and the Razer Synapse issue were talked about plenty on launch day, never marked as known issue. I would hope they at least mark it as intended behavior with a reason if nothing else.
