so when i first started playing OW, it was on ps4 and i played from 2017 all the way until 2020 when i got a pc and started playing on there, i want to get the Watchpoint pack for OW2 so i can get beta access and all the stuff included, but i want to purchase it for PC, but i also want to cross-over my playstation account to PC since i have literally almost everything unlocked on that account, if i buy the watchpoint pack on PC but cross over my account will i be able to get the watchpoint stuff with my playstation stuff together? (my playstation account and pc account are linked together with blizzard)
Yes. All your linked accounts will share your earned cosmetics regardless of which platform you play on.
I played on Xbox from 2017 to 2020 and then switched to PC and I was just about to ask this question. Are you me from an alternate timeline? don’t lie. Seriously though hope I can get all my stuff from Xbox.
How do you know this for sure? I’ve been scouring the internet with this question for days and I can’t find anything definitive.
The team did an AMA on reddit.
Someone asked:
Do you mind elaborating about cross platform progression? Will we all be reset to level 1 when OW2 comes out? I’m gold border on PS4 and I’m still not even level 100 when I had to switch over to Xbox.
If I have a bunch of skins on PS4 and it transfers over for OW2, will I be able to get my skins on Xbox? Or is it console locked?
And the community manager Jodie replied:
Howdy, … We will be removing levels for Overwatch 2, and you will bring your Overwatch skins with you into OW2 from all platforms with cross progression.
