Overwatch 2 Big Issue

From what was showed so far, seems like majority of the DPS is being untouched or slightly changed, while Tanks lost one teammate in the same role, and some Supports are being nerfed and made weaker. Mercy seems horrible, Brig lost everything that used to make her unique. No armor even for her Ult now, no stun… Ana, Bap and Zen will be dominating again and being untouched while other Supports like Mercy and Moira will probably be trash because “they are easy to play”.
Everything that was showed so far just shows that Overwatch is losing what it once was, it’s losing it’s charm and it’s unique thing and fun factor. Seems like all the focus is on DPS, the game just feels so one-dimensional and much more basic and generic.

Does Mercy’s already bad 50hps really need the 25% healing debuff? Maybe Ana or Bap, but 50HPS?!? C’mon

Wasn’t 5v5 suppose to make OWL matches more exciting? I legit had way more fun watching goats and tank spam in OWL than this. And goat matches were horrible… LOL.

Blizzard may as well just do 6v6 with the current bruiser tanking changes. Not like double barrier will be a thing with such weak shields and Orisa being reworked. Since we have another tank back, supports can have their healing untouched as they have no more excuses to fall back on.

I agree with this but another take: there is no way they let nade be like it is now with -100% without a second tank. I am sure it will be changed. Otherwise it would be stupid.

The version they showed us was in an Alpha state and is actively worked on. We will see more changes to all heroes when we are getting closer to the OWL season 5 kick off in April.

This was already stated back in May that every ability which granted overshield, armor, etc. grants now “overhealth” which is normal health which decays over time.

Acording to AndyB we are getting more news on Support changes in the future.

In general the build we saw is very early on and don’t represent the final version of it.
