Just an FYI, Fire TV watch time does count. Just make sure you are logged into Twitch on the Fire TV and all your accounts are connected (Twitch, Amazon, and Battlenet).
You will have to go to another device to actually check progress and claim however.

Is there a possibility to earn the drop before the 4 hours? or is it a flat 4 hours for everyone, is it possible to get as like a random drop?

Everyone. I have worked through the entire list of Eligible streamers. Everyone who is currently actively streaming Overwatch is showing Drops Enabled.
We have 6 hours remaining to earn drops

There are no chat commands related to the actual drops (streamers simply have a “!drops” command which instructs linking the BattleNet account to Twitch). Just stay on a Drops Enabled stream and your time will accumulate no matter how many different streamers you watch.
Again, everyone can track their time watched at twitch.tv/drops/inventory

ah, so I assume then that the drop progress frees up if a streamer were to end their stream? because it appears that I will only gain my progress watching ml7, the streamer I started with
and I just wanted to be sure just in case

He didn’t stop the stream. He just got pulled into a feature game on the Playoverwatch twitch stream. He should be going until the countdown he is showing is done.

You’ll have to claim the beta drop in the drops menu.

There may be about 30 minutes in some cases, after you click the claim button.
