I know it’s a tiny issue and is basically irrelevant especially for testing, but my account all my settings and cosmetics were from about a year ago. So it seems like a none problem as cosmetics are basically the only thing affected but I have specific settings for just about every characters so I have to spend time going through each one changing settings.
If my current live account could overwrite my beta account that’d be great, my friend has the same issue and I assume it’s like that for most people.
It’s probably not so simple of a fix and I don’t need it to be fixed but I thought I might as well make a post about it.

I’m having the same issue. My OW2 account settings are from seasons ago when I first launched and had to do all my settings.
This is normal. Like the Public Test Region the dev team takes a copy of your account at a fixed point of time uses that for separated game clients. See my post in the Beta General Discussion forum for details.
