Overwatch 2 and Menu Music

I think Overwatch has some lovely music, from the menu themes to the overtime theme, but I think that there are some themes that are criminally underused: The hero release themes.

With every new hero launch, there came a new main menu theme just for them. All of them are excellent (Brigitte, Moira, Sigma and Ball have some especially nice ones), and they’re a great change of pace from the usual menu theme, but they only last a few weeks, almost like the event themes. Why is that?

I think that these hero-specific menu themes should be rotated. Every time you enter the game, you should be met with a different theme. It’d be cool, and it would be a nice way to keep created music in use.

Also, for the heroes that don’t have specific music, perhaps they could use parts of the map themes. D.VA, for example, could part of the Busan theme. Other heroes could use the second part of Havana’s theme that is rarely heard (and probably my favorite music in the game).

This could be a nice addition to OW2, with even the new heroes from there having their own themes to go along with the previous ones. I’d really like that, and I bet others would too.

I really like the updated play of the game music they have ready for overwatch 2. First time I heard it was in one of those YouTube push mode gameplay videos for overwatch 2 at blizzcon

I suggested exactly this when Cities and Countries dropped. The map music is beautiful let me here it on the main menu but give me the option to rotate the songs I like and have it match the background map. The music in this game is criminally underused.
