They might just be the same thing but mine are Kiriko and Orisa. These characters get way too much hate for what they do. How often do you see an unkillable Orisa or a GOOD Kiriko?
That’s about all I can think of. I would maybe say Moira.

hes fun and i like playing him but he is kind of stupid. at least you can counter him pretty well by just menacingly approaching him with reinhardt, orisa, mauga, etc (provided you are not playing on illios), and ana is also funny

Doomfist has always been overhated. He had some silent cheese and it’s pretty annoying to be group punched, but he is far from the worst offender for this kind of stuff.

Overrated : hog. The easiest tank to counter. Has actual hard counters unlike other tanks that have a small number of soft counters. Rarely, if ever, see a hog start a game and still be hog at the end of the game.
Underrated: symm. At low ranks symm can be a bit of a stomper as she lasers down the tank over and over while the tank can’t hit anything on her.
For some weird and unimaginable reason: Pharah. She seems to be the color of the season for absolutely no reason out of the blue. So many players are just randomly bashing on her despite her being completely irrelevant in the highest tiered gameplay besides classic YZNSA grinding her out again as always. And even he has to swap off her a lot. Complaints still keep coming for her as of lately. Makes you think of what went into these players’ drinking water 
If anything it should be the Pharah players themselves complaining about her since she feels so much worse to play after her changes and she didn’t even get properly compensated for the nerfs. So many Pharah players just dropped her due to the bad state she is in
Oh and all my homies hate Ana and Widow. These 2 heroes should just be deleted from the game.

As for overrated, I only have one; Reinhardt. I like Rein, a lot, but people make him out to be the absolute peak of tank gameplay and the most fun and fair character in the game and like…sure he feels more “fair” to play against than some other heroes, but I honestly don’t think chewing through 2k health and playing keep away from him is the most fun and engaging gameplay Overwatch has to offer.
Mercy is insanely overhated. Half of the people hating her are mentally stuck in the year moth meta happened.
they get mad bc they waste half an hour dumping abilities into one person and dont have any left over to take care of the mercy rez or just take care of the mercy to begin with

A lot of people who hate her is because its annoying when there is one in the other team.
Rez is annoying (especially behind walls)
Dealing with a pocketed player is annoying
Chasing her is annoying
Seeing her escape at mach 20 is annoying
You also never duel her so you dont even have a fun fight.
Its just a nuisance in a match (and i also dont like having one on my team because mercy mains never switch to something else than moira)
Overhated: Junkrat. Nothing makes people lose their minds quite like a Junkrat. Yet he has some of the harshest and most accessible counters in the game, has very few decent matchups, only a handful of good maps and is almost universally acknowledged as mediocre at best.
Overrated: For most of the playerbase probably Genji. He’s a budget Tracer/Echo and unless you’ve dedicated 5k hours into learning him there’s never really a reason to pick him.
Sombra is easily the most overrated hero imo. If it weren’t for Widow on her OP maps, I would go so far as to say there really isnt much of a reason to pick her over other flankers that can actually play with their team far more visibly (hehe).
Overhated… I want to say someone other than Doom, but really, Doom is the correct choice. To me, Doom tests how well teammates can survive without their tank holding their hand with a big shield in front of them. Doom has to try making plays, some of the time that means teammates have to know how to live on their own.
My Doom gets counterswapped all the time, teammates typically react badly if I dont feel compelled to swap off him right away. It adds to why DF is such a divisive hero. Imo.
Being liked and hated is better than being ignored. Y’know that one quote, “the opposite of love isn’t hate, it’s indifference.” Yeah that.
When the community unanimously ignores a hero, that’s the worst condition a hero can be in.
Overhated: Ball, Sombra
Overrated: Rein, Ana
Moira for sure. If you lose to her, it’s probably because you’re bad.
Hog. I could do without the hook jank but the man gives you free ult charge. What a philanthropist.
Mercy. She’s maybe the fourth most obnoxious support to play against but people sure do act like she killed their whole family.
Doomfist. Your boy has to take big risks in order to get value. He’s gonna die sometimes. Relax and let him cook.
Pharah. You don’t need to be a cracked hitscan, you need to stop standing in the open.
