I was looking at my statistics between Overbuff and in-game, and none of them match. For instance on Mercy Overbuff says avg. healing is 13,204. But in-game it says it’s 8,762. Another example is deaths. Overbuff says 10.46 and in-game says 6.82. And I know that I die on average between 5-8 times simply from playing Mercy for over 200 hours. So… why isn’t in-game matching up with Overbuff?
its showing data over different amounts of time. dont compare them
Oh, alright. One other thing. It says at the top 6% skill rank and then in the middle says 57% quick rank. What do these mean exactly?
is the tab on quickplay or competitive?
Both are technically correct.
On Overbuff, it’s purely Avg between games.
In game it shows Avg per 10 minutes. As in over any given 10 minutes of playtime, you heal, kill, die, etc X amount on average.
In game used to say the same Avg per game like Overbuff, but since every game lasts a different length, and short games would skew the average, the devs changed it to a more consistent measure.
This right here, also blizz website said something about internal error so I couldnt check if you have a private profile but if you do that’s another reason the stats are off
It’s on the quickplay tab but it shows the comp stuff at the top.
Skill rank 6%, skill rating 1670
Quick rank 57%, quick score 6,471
if its on the qp tab then 57% means youre better at that hero than 57% of players in qp. the comp tab will have different stats than qp
Alrighty. Any idea what the 6% skill rank is?
If I remember correctly blizzard measures most stats on a per 10 minutes basis while overbuff does it per game
It means you’re in the bottom 6% of the SR ladder compared to other people whose data is on overbuff.
