I did it, I managed to drag my ragged corpse of a body out of Bronze tonight. Barely, at 1503 SR, but I finally did it. In the old forums I had two threads chronicling my tribulations in Bronze, so I feel very glad to have gotten out. Now, I just have to stay out.

Yeah, it just took some time. According to Oversumo I already perform better than 72% of Silver players. So this should be interesting.

Silver games are much better I think.

You still have the crazy comps and throwers but overall it’s better organized.

The forums have hurt me many times. Also this wasn’t meant to be like a curse out of pure anger. It’s just something that happens.

Yeah but why not word it differently or just let him have his own little victory.
“You might fall back down but focus on improving and if you’re really above bronze you’ll climb back up!”
sounds a lot better, right?
He’s a really nice person, just be nice back instead of being so negative :confused:

I’m not really a person to sugar coat when it’s something that isn’t a very sensitive topic. I don’t mean to be mean but.

Prepare for it holmes. The games will likely not change much, but you will notice you lose more. Toxicity will also increase substantially. You did good though man, congrats on that.

Telling someone who’s just climbed out of a rank that they will fall back down, instead of just congratulating them is ridiculous. It’s an achievement on it’s own and he’s actually put a lot of time and effort into this.
Let me put this into a real life application
“Hey dude, I just got promoted today! I’m so stoked!”
“Whatever, you’re not good enough to cut it. You’ll just be fired anyways.”
I’m just saying, it’s not what a decent person normally says.
