Orisa running rampant

Wasn’t the whole point of buffing her to keep Roadhog in check? Orisa ran rampant DURING the Hog meta, now that he’s removed she is completely unchecked.

Honestly, the amount of CC that she has is just insane. She has more boops than Ball and Lucio COMBINED, then a basically immortality button ontop of it that lasts forever, AND her ult sucks you in whilst making her immune to death once again.

She is out of control, and must be nerfed.

…I play Cassidy and I find dealing with Orisa quite easy…?

…Orisa players tend to use all their abilities at once and wayyyyy overextend, I just wait out her little invincible charge and then head shots for days…? :thinking:

You’re playing against bad Orisas, Orisa destroys Mcree, and, frankly, if you’re Mcree firing bullets into an Orisa, you’re bad too… Good Orisas ALWAYS have a cooldown available.

It’s not a charge, either, it’s a frontal block. You can go backwards using it, stand still using it, only bad Orisas overextend. Along with that, immune to headshots literally half the time (Gold, spin both make her immune), line of sight still exists for an Orisa, etc…

She, literally, has a 15 second chain where she can tank 5 people’s damage without dying and all she needs is a slight heal.

Gold > Javelin Spin > Throw > Ult > Javelin Spin > Throw > Gold > Spin

15 seconds of virtual immunity in an FPS game. People complained that Zarya had 5 seconds of KILLABLE immunity (you could kill her shields, you can’t do that to Orisa), Orisa somehow has the capabilities of THREE TIMES AS LONG WITH NO COUNTERPLAY and people act like it’s ok.

Funny how the “Hog Meta” was plagued by Orisa and players still dunking on her with Hog.

Good Hogs could destroy Orisa crutchers. And now that he’s gone, Orisa holds the monopoly on tank. And I said this would happen on a variety of posts the day before the patch dropped.

Nerfing Hog didn’t make more tanks more viable. It just narrowed the monopoly further.

…firstly, the OP (and title of OP) uses the term ‘running rampant’ (unchecked/unopposed) and doesn’t say Orisa is ‘OP’ (Overpowered)…? :thinking:

…next, I said Orisa players (in my experience) tend to use all their abilities in succession so waiting it out is the optimal way to deal with her…? :thinking:

I honestly need this meta to change soon because it’s driving me insane. Every game it’s the same thing and it’s whoever has the better orissa and which kiri can get ult the quickest who wins and it’s tiring man

she currently holds every tank hostage. people chose to have fun with other tanks until they lose and ofc they swap to orisa. its like magic, you just win!

Yeah, I wish they’d undo the ult buff. There’s no reason it should go through shields, and I feel like it messed something up with the code for it. I’ve been out of the circle entirely several times and still get hit by it, so the visual is either scuffed or it’s inaccurate.

Orisa is Blizzard new flagship character because all they want in the game is cash bots to spend money. So they made a god bot to rule them all. Blizzard has killed the game with it’s greed and they don’t care. I’m just here because of addiction and love of a game long ago.
