I wanna stop to complain about this but double shield meta is not dead.
Of course it got weaker than last season but still tank players don’t feel free to choose whatever they want but shield tanks. nowadays, zarya got some buffs but that’s it.
Now the shields got thinner. that’s OK but I think D.Va and Winston still need some buff even more.
D.va is a flying tank. that provided dynamism for the game play. now she just fly to survive, and get back home and change the pick. that’s it.

Double shield meta is not dead.
OWL level talent still play Orisa/Sigma.
BUT Double shield is dead to most ranks except masters and grandmasters/T500
The shield nerfs and tank buffs served to lessen the divide between Orisa/Sigma and the rest of the tanks, but only succeeded in lower elo.
A good Reinhardt/Zarya duo is going to roll over an Orisa/Sigma in diamond 9 times out of 10 because diamonds don’t have the same mechanical and positional skill as GM/T500.
So technically, OP, you are correct, but a plat/diamond level Orisa can still be exploited.
