I don’t normally come to the forums to complain about an OP hero. But Orisa right now is just blatantly OP. She’s back to the same damage range she had before. She still has 2 stuns. She has her survivability.
You pair her with the right healers and a Bastion and she’s nearly invincible so long as she manages her cooldowns.
I’m not going to say she is completely unkillable. If she doesn’t have the right healers with her or the enemy has a super high damage comp then she can still die and quickly even. But if things are going her way, there’s nothing else as strong right now.
It went from 15 to 25, then back to 15, and now 20. Also I think it’s odd she goes from pretty bad to arguably the best tank simply by getting 5m falloff buff, and a net nerf to fortify. Seems buffs to other heroes and them being played is a pretty big contributor to the rise of orisa.
Also goes to show how hard it must be to balance this game, 5m buff goes from a bottom tank to a top one.
Oh, yes, Hog is an INFAMOUS Orisa counter. So many Orisa players feel the need to test their mettle against Hog because of how lopsided that match up is.
Orisa is weaker than ever before in fortify after the lack of dmg red stacking. The only thing that has changed is that people think she is better so you are seeing more often compared to people getting off Orisa playing other heroes.
Orisa’s strengths have pretty much not changed, only how often you see her, but the same strategies you sue against her are not different. Dive her backline and kill that. Go omega damage busting or pick up zen/ana. There are so many different ways to get around her, but as usual, most teams are not trying to synergize with each other in a way that works out.
Get your butt off Zen if your whole team is going dive and stop being the sole character Orisa gets to bully for free and you keep dying repeatedly.
One tricking population is so small that this doesn’t really prove anything. What’s really happend is season 2 you saw much hog, then he got gutted, he wasn’t seen much. People stopped playing him because he was easy strong and only the people who really understand how to play the character well stuck with him.
1v1 me. I blame Orisa entirely for dropping from Gold to Bronze with 28 straight losses in season 12 of OW1, so I’m pretty qualified to duel people with her I think.
