Orisa Halt can lock onto enemies without previous LOS and pull through walls and other objects

On certain walls (it doesn’t seem to matter how thick), Halt pulls despite not having Line-of-Sight. This appears to happen more often than not on key areas of at least 2 maps.

Twitch streamer Jayne tested this earlier, he demonstrates this bug multiple times in many places on Lijiang Tower: Garden and Horizon Lunar Colony.

I forgot to add that the rock and the central pillar on the point are the only areas they tested where there weren’t able to connect the pull.

Not a bug, and it does matter how thick the wall is. It is supposed to function like a graviton, which also pulls through walls, with a smaller range and shorter CC.

I don’t think so. Graviton pulls through shields while Halt cannot lock on through them. And if it were exactly like Graviton, the rock that doesn’t work or the central part of the point would, because there are thicker walls (like the one on HLC) that let you pull. It doesn’t pull through shields cause it isn’t an ult. The fact that it doesn’t pull through those specific rocks or the central part of the point IS a bug though and should be fixed.

It shouldn’t be able to lock on if the hero can’t see or be seen by the orb, like what happens is the video.

Graviton and Halt function differently. And even Halt is inconsistent: it can pull through a wall near the bridge, but cannot pull through the wall in the house on the side (in Lijiang Garden). Both have the same thickness.

You can test and see.

There is some walls they cannot pull through: in Lijiang Garden, they can pull through the cylinder billboard, but cannot pull through the thich rocks in front of the moon gates on each sode. They can pull through the wall near the bridge but not through the walls on the house near the rock.
