I like payload and cp maps. Can we add a way to only queue for these map types. I want to avoid as much push and flashpoint as possible. Without quitting. With these maps in rotation i dont see myself playing competitive anymore.
I want to play on practice range only
What do you think this is? CS:Go, where you actually have a say in what you’re queued for?
I love push maps , I would prefer a option to opt out of HAVANA and CIRCUIT ROYALE .
I’d be playing this game ifinitely more if we could queue for game modes we like. But they don’t have the playerbase to allow us to. Especially in comp where they disable PC crossplay, we’d be in like 30 min queues to find games.
It’s not like queues would be that split. Only people that main mobility heroes would ever opt into Push/Flashpoint.
Eh. Push is less mobility favored than control.
there was an article earlier in the week where they said basically they’re not going to do it
https://www.ggrecon.com/articles/overwatch-2-devs-have-disappointing-update-on-map-voting-system/
because it “would make the matchmaking worse” (lol… how could it be)
I consider Esperanca to be Tracer’s best map.
Push is set up in a way that makes it really easy for Dive comps.
Most control points are either dive heavens or flanker specific heavens as well
Meanwhile tf2 had this all the time. Even when the playerbase was in the 10k range.
Now it has 100k and increasing, ow is decreasing. Wonder why…
boyyyy is that a cap, tf2 has been dead for years, don’t bring ow into your mess…
They are, but Push is even better imo
Idk. Control is pretty much only dive, brawl, or rush, whereas while dive is good on push, you can still make other comps work.
Oh I wish this was possible. I dislike push and its walking simulator.
The technology just isn’t there
I can understand the use for playlists like QP, but not for comp.
Maybe they should reintroduce priority tickets and allow for faster queue times or map preferences.
TF2 has never trended in the 10k average range lol
The lowest average was 36k. Also, people called that a “dead game”.
It’s had over 100k before, it comes and goes. It’ll fall off again within a few months, probably dip to ~60k, get called a “dead game” and then get a huge surge where people change their myopic minds about it.
Meanwhile, people say that player counts are decreasing in OW2, when the XBL charts (the only first party data source before the game came to Steam) suggests the game is averaging higher than OW1 in its final 3 years, and holding stable.
That will increase the Q times a lot
You can make other comps work, but assuming both teams are equally skilled, Dive always wins. I’ve never lost a fair game on a Push map.
