this matters more in master/gm tho. throw picks in this list don’t matter as much in lower levels

Surprised Ana isn’t S-tier. She already has the highest pick-rate at every rank in the game besides GM, only beaten by Hog. This is likely going to switch soon due to the Hog nerfs. Ana currently sitting at 15.43% pick-rate.
Also don’t see Widow becoming that dominant. Sure she will be a strong pick but not to the “pick or lose” status.

With everyone playing Roadhog and Zarya I feel like a contributes a bunch & in tough situations sometimes does more proper tanking than either of the two.
if you mean Mei, no she doesn’t do “proper tanking”. If it was before the numerous nerfs maybe yeah, but now she’s a throwpick and going as Mei against a Zarya is basically throwing the game because she makes her completely useless just like she does with a Dva.

But what about Mei vs a roadhog? Sure a zarya is also bubbling roadhogs but I think that you’re seeing the things Mei is bringing that a tank like roadhog / zarya aren’t.
With a Mei it’s a lot more safe to take ground even if they have a widow & that’s without even mentioning her Wall where I see the proper tanking mechanics…
Something that actually protects the team as a whole rather than just trying to brute force your way through a bunch of damage as a beefy roadhog with no shield.
-Shields got nerfed sure but I don’t think they’re ‘broken’. It’s just the same triage as playing a healing support.
Imo Ana is A tier not only for her name, but because as an old granny she has limited mobility. That’s what keeps her balanced. Imo Lucio is definitely S-tier. Time to watch that meta Tier list.
Ana has a high pick rate due to her raw HPS and the versatility of both biotic grenade and Nano boost.
