So I went back to play Open Queue Comp at first it didn’t go well as to be expected, but as I kept playing for hours on end it made my experience more fun and enjoyable. I ran into every single playstyle and comps. It was so much fun but the one comp I kept running into and played was the Two Tanks, Two Supports and One DPS and I had tons of fun.
Yes every now and than there was always those players that play CounterWatch but it didn’t stop me from having the most fun and chaotic experience. I didn’t even care about my rank going up or down wins or losses compared to role queue competitive.

Yeah no one really takes open queue seriously, it’s like its own little community that no one really pays attention to/knows they exist, but it’s so unserious that even a role queue diamond player can get top 500 in open queue
Open Q is the trenches… Its where people go to just no give a crap and have fun… I mean have its fun when U make 5 tanks switch roles after destroying them. Plus ur not locked into one class
If only this was true, I’m diamond on role queue and still platinum in open queue on this account at least…
Right? lol I don’t take Open Q Comp seriously at all. Infact since QP is so bad with people not wanting to win I just use Open Q Comp as my version of QP. I practice new heroes there. My rank in open Q is GOLD and in Role Q it’s masters in every role.
I’m not exactly throwing, I just don’t see it as real comp and QP match making is terrible and full of casuals. Hard to get good practice with new heroes if everyone is always throwing.

I use Open Q a lot of times to work on characters I’m trying to get a bit better with. Sometimes It works in my favor other times not so much so I just switch to whatever my team might need… It is what it is

Open queue is so much fun because people actually switch when they’re supposed to. Role queue players have this weird idea that they can play whatever they want and not get pissed at the team getting mad at them for being countered.
I really like this because it’s so true. New players or throwing gets so old I just go to comp. Rq matchmaking still gets drunk and I don’t think I’ve had a bad experience yet in oq comp
