Only Mystery Heroes is fun anymore, playable even

I run out of “avoid as teammate” slots too quick when I try other modes.

Role queue basically means: Carry this level 1 endorsed NPC who was trying to install Fall Guys, but clicked on the wrong page. If they didn’t occasionally stand still or get lost in the map, I would question if they are actually bots.

Sometimes 6v6 is good, but you can ALWAYS tell which team is rigged to win. The drives are giving it away so easily it’s laughable.

One team: 5 unranked
Other team: 4 purples, 2 of them prestige IV sweats

Gee, I wonder which team is going to have multiple people with 20-30 streaks by the end? Yes, I ALSO recognize when my team is the one rigged to win too, duh.

So, I queue for Mystery Heroes. The random mode. It’s complete BS whenever one team gets 2 zaryas, or 2 balls, or 2 whatever, but if you just keep dying, then eventually you will get a lucky roll, and you then start dunking on the people who don’t know their heroes.

It feels rewarding. I’m confident with at least 75% of the roster, so I can always contribute. It almost feels like loser queue doesn’t exist in MH, but I presume it’s because the player pool is so small, and the heroes are random, the matchrigger struggles hard to calculate which team will win.

So I keep on winning. So far, 239 Mystery Heroes games won, 130 lost. 64.77% winrate. Not too bad.

How do you know it’s not rigged in the other direction

You mean the entire mode is rigged in MY favor? Why me specifically?

Yeah idk. You kinda said there’s rigging in other modes. I just wonder how you aren’t sure there isn’t rigging in MH too.

Yes, the easily observable fact of team handicapping is actually patented by Activision.

It roughly guarantees a certain number of losses and wins for each player. It’s not 100% accurate because there’s so many variables, like players leaving, actively throwing, messing around with a new hero, and of course someone just randomly clutching the win.

Sometimes the stronger team loses. Sometimes the “carry” becomes tilted and stops trying.

Always has been meme

I’ve always said it : MH is the truest Overwatch experience.

If you are able to shine there, the quality and versatility is undeniable.

PS: The only “rigging” in that mode is balancing the number of Shapeshifters per team afaik.

Mmm, no. I’ve seen enough shapeshifters who didn’t understand how to play half a roster at all)

Hardcore Press X to Doubt mate.
Someone with 500 wins in MH has pretty much at least 800 matches done.

If you didn’t understand how to play half the roster, you are winning less than 30% of the matches. That mode is very unforgiving.

I mean… I literally only played mh in ow2 and that’s my experience. A lot of people with the title I somehow only met 1-2 times and they played extremely questionable

// I also saw one player who literally brute-forced wins just for the title

Welcome to the club mate.
Almost Chameleon and long time ago Shapeshifter here (this is my alt).

No one is saying that title makes you a pro, but the chances of someone having that title and “not understanding how to play half the roster” are very very very very small.

But hey, you do you.

I have probably about 3k hours in mh in total since its creation, and t500 in all 3 seasons, I am one of the founders of the club)

Again:

Your hours doesn’t matter mate, that comment just doesn’t hold up. Sorry :man_shrugging:

I don’t need to hold up anything, this is my experience over a huge number of games. People have bad games, but it’s weird that I haven’t met these people in their good ones, considering I already know half the players in my games

// I have both chameleons, never even looked at the titles)

I said the comment doesn’t hold up mate. Statistically speaking. For everything else, its already been addressed, don’t get stuck in a loop:

We are done here.
