Only getting bot lobbies

So im having an issue with a new account, what in the world is going on. Its a 100 percent fresh account made an hour ago for my GF so she can start playing with me as she never has, and im setting it up now. basically whenever i try to get into a lobby it is all bots, and only 8 other bots load in. so its me and 3 other bots, then a full team of bots. the game then doesnt start, says waiting for players, and were in a little deathmatch warmup for like 2 mins before the server just closes and it puts me back into quick play priority queue. so far in 1 hour ive only been able to get 1 game to start where i could actually playt through. The rest of the time ive been in this weird limbo with bots only, then the server closing before the game starts. And during the map pick phase and whatnot, it only lists me on my team on the left. literally what is going on lollll? both frustrating and funny bc from the posts ive seen, OW doesnt use bots. And the names are all weird like OW references and in the one replay i was able to get(only game the ever opened) theyre all just lister as “tank 1”, “damage 2” etc except for my other teammate who seemed real. so like what do i do lmao ive never had this problem on a new account.

There’s nothing to “set up” on a new account you won’t be playing. If it’s your girlfriend’s account, she should be the one playing it, as sharing accounts is a bannable offense.

Why are we buffing bot behavior in player vs Ai, literaly why, why are all the bot zen soo freaking anoying, i dont want to play a hard games with bots, i just want to play the new hero, i dont play quickplay because i am bad and my controlers have drifts, another thing why the hell do bots ult in these games like why is the point, they are not supose to win, thats not how it works, like in ow 1 there was fun playing with bots, like i am too bad to play qp, thats okay just play with bots, but now why is Bizzard buffing their behaviour in casual, yeah why, just why, in letal it make sense but in casual, like its supose to be the easy mode
