A reason to actually play or win that is not tied to RNG boxes and collecting duplicate sprays nobody cares about.
When it comes to rewarding the player, this game really, really lacks it. Almost as if you gotta rely on “a sense of pride and accomplishment” to feel rewarded.
A map editor for the community to create custom maps and game modes like wc3 had

Some sort of story mode. This game has a fantastic lore and it would be awesome to actually play it than just read about it in Comics or watch it in little animated shorts.

Overwatch Puzzle Brawlers.
That’s right. I want Overwatch to go Mobile with a Puzzle Fighter style game.
Do it Blizz! It’ll be the one time where saying, “So, everyone here has a cell phone…” will actually be intriguing.
Symmetra to be fixed
Prophunt overwatch edition, there are interesting maps they could add, full of objects for us to turn into. Soldiers running around trying to find and kill the shapeshift omnics as they taunt with character quotes.

A feature that stops me from playing when I shouldn’t

To have a matchmaking system that actually works and is fair.

Driver’s license or state ID requirement for making a new account.
You can link multiple alt accounts to a single ID, but if you get banned/silenced on one, it mirrors this to the other accounts.
If you get permabanned, that’s it. No coming back unless you appeal or borrow/steal someone else’s ID.
For the kiddos, parent’s ID can be substituted.

Cosmetic Editor that allows us to paint each garment a different color and maybe eventually mix and max garments from different skins.

Either a faction system that rewards skins, spray, player icons the longer you stay with them or a definitive edition of some kind.

MORE OPTIONS in Custom Games.
Like…give use old kits/abilities. Let people who haven’t tried Mass Rez a chance to try it. Those who miss TP/Shield Gen a chance to relive those moments. Let people play Ana when she was a MENACE with her damage.
And have it LIMITED to Custom Games. Hey would get people to stop complaining about things being gone and Custom Games are there for fun.
